Uber Fresh
Uber launched its food delivery pilot in Los Angeles in August 2014 under the name Uber Fresh, positioning it as an extension of the ride-hailing app rather than a standalone product. The wordmark followed Uber's existing typographic style, with no distinct food-service identity.

2015–2016
Uber Eats launch
The platform renamed to Uber Eats in late April 2015 as delivery expanded beyond the pilot city and into a dedicated product category. The updated logotype introduced a fork-and-knife device alongside the name, signaling the brand's separation from its parent.
2017–2018
UberEATS caps
A December 2017 refresh set the name in full capitals as UberEATS, unifying the compound word and giving the wordmark a bolder presence on app screens and packaging. The treatment brought the food service closer to the all-caps styling Uber was experimenting with across its product line at the time.

Green identity
A 2018 redesign established the green color system that became central to the Uber Eats brand, pairing a refreshed wordmark with a palette distinct from the black-and-white Uber parent. The name reverted to mixed case as Uber Eats, separating the two words and the two brands more cleanly.

Current mark
A 2020 update simplified the wordmark to a clean sans-serif set in Uber Move, the custom typeface the parent company introduced in 2018. The logo dropped any icon device, relying on the name and the green-to-black color system to carry the full identity.
