1928–1969
Dodge Trucks
Chrysler registered the Dodge Trucks name on May 30, 1928, marking the formal identity for its commercial vehicle line. The wordmark established the Dodge name as the primary brand signal for truck buyers, separate from passenger-car styling.
1969–1993
Dodge Trucks 1969
A redesigned Dodge Trucks mark introduced in 1969 accompanied the third-generation D-series pickup and reflected a broader shift toward bolder, more geometric lettering across American auto brands of the era. The identity remained in use for more than two decades.
1993–2009
Dodge Ram
In 1993, Dodge renamed its truck line Dodge Ram, drawing on the "Ram Tough" marketing slogan used throughout the 1980s and the ram's-head hood ornament first introduced in 1932. The accompanying logotype paired the Dodge name with a stylized ram head, anchoring the visual identity to the truck's mascot.

2009–2023
Ram Trucks
Ram was spun off as a standalone brand from Dodge in 2009 under Chrysler LLC, becoming Ram Truck. The separation allowed each brand to be marketed independently, and Ram adopted a simplified ram's-head badge without the Dodge wordmark.
