Baltimore Horseshoe
The Baltimore Colts adopted this simplified horseshoe mark as their primary symbol, rendered in navy and white. The design carried the franchise through its most celebrated seasons, including back-to-back NFL Championship wins in 1958 and 1959, predating the mark itself.

1979–1983
Late Baltimore Era
A transitional version of the horseshoe appeared in the franchise's final years in Baltimore, reflecting minor color and proportion adjustments ahead of the relocation. The form remained recognizable but the palette shifted toward lighter tones.

Current Mark
In 2002 the Colts refined the horseshoe with a slightly darker shade of blue and tighter proportions, the first meaningful visual update since the Baltimore years. The adjustment brought the mark into closer alignment with broadcast reproduction standards.
