1993–1995
Original Mark
Unveiled in December 1993 when Jacksonville received its NFL expansion franchise, this initial jaguar head logo never appeared on the field. British automaker Jaguar filed a trademark infringement suit in 1994 over its similarity to their own emblem, prompting a negotiated settlement that required the team to redesign the mark before their inaugural 1995 season.

1995–1998
Inaugural Mark
Adopted for the team's first NFL season after the trademark settlement, the redesigned jaguar head featured gold fur, a teal tongue, and angular black markings. The mark debuted January 20, 1995, and appeared on helmets and uniforms throughout the team's first three seasons.

Refined Head
A 1998 update softened the angular linework of the original, replacing sharp geometric stripes with more naturalistic fur spots and adding teal to the nose and eye. The head read as more anatomically credible while retaining the same color palette of gold, teal, and black.

2009–2013
Darkened Palette
Announced April 22, 2009, this iteration shifted the gold tones toward a deeper, more muted hue and adjusted the teal across the mark for greater contrast. No structural changes were made to the jaguar silhouette; the update was limited to color calibration.

Current Mark
Revealed February 5, 2013, under new owner Shad Khan, the redesign marked the franchise's first full rebrand since 1995. The jaguar head was redrawn with greater realism and musculature, accompanied by a refined wordmark and a new military-inspired secondary logo under the theme 'Stand United.'
