Deloitte Haskins & Sells
Designed by Siegel+Gale
Siegel+Gale designed this logotype for Deloitte Haskins & Sells following the 1972 merger of Deloitte, Plender, Griffiths & Co. with Haskins & Sells. The stacked two-line treatment set the Deloitte name above Haskins+Sells in a thin, geometric sans-serif, creating a stepped hierarchy.

1989–2000
Deloitte & Touche
The 1989 merger of Deloitte Haskins & Sells with Touche Ross in the US created Deloitte & Touche, collapsing the Big Eight accounting firms to six. A new blue-and-white wordmark replaced the earlier stacked format, combining the two firm names on a single horizontal baseline.

Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu
Designed by Lippincott & Margulies
Lippincott & Margulies redesigned the mark in August 2000, introducing a modified version of Myriad and updating the full legal name to reflect the global network structure. The revision brought visual consistency across member firms operating under the Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu umbrella.
2003–2016
Green Dot
A 2003 rebrand dropped the Touche Tohmatsu name and introduced a custom sans-serif wordmark with a displaced green dot replacing the tittle on the "i." The green dot was selected after testing several other colors including fuchsia, yellow, orange, and bronze, becoming the firm's signature identifier.

Open Sans refresh
Announced at Deloitte's 2016 world meeting in Tokyo, the refresh replaced the prior typeface with Open Sans and shifted the primary wordmark color from blue to black, with the green dot rendered more prominently. A circular super graphic was introduced as a primary visual element across global communications.
