1999
Founding mark
RingCentral launched in 1999 as a hosted business phone service, and its first logo reflected the era's web aesthetic with a literal telephony reference. The wordmark used a rounded typeface with a small graphic element, common among early cloud communications startups.

2000–2003
Early wordmark
A revised wordmark appeared around 2000 with cleaner proportions and a shifted color palette. The update aligned the brand with the broader move in enterprise software toward more structured, legible logotypes.

2004–2008
Mid-2000s refresh
By 2004 the company had introduced a refreshed mark with modified letterforms and a new accompanying graphic device. This version remained in use through the mid-2000s as RingCentral expanded its small-business customer base.

2009
Pre-IPO identity
A new logo appeared in 2009 ahead of the company's push toward enterprise customers and its eventual 2013 IPO. The design moved toward a more geometric, contained treatment with updated typography.
2010–present · current
Current mark
The current identity, introduced around 2010 and refined over time, pairs a sans-serif wordmark with the now-familiar ring graphic that references both telephony and the brand name directly. This system has persisted through RingCentral's growth into a publicly traded UCaaS platform.
