2006–2007
Mascot launch
Wix launched with a mascot logo: a stick-figure character shaped like the letter X, with raised arms and a schematic face, positioned above the company name. The playful figure reflected the Flash-based website builder's early personality and its roots as a consumer-friendly creative tool.

2010–2011
Blue rectangle wordmark
Wix dropped the mascot and adopted a contained wordmark, setting 'WIX.com' in white lettering inside a solid blue rectangle. The shift accompanied the platform's transition away from Flash toward HTML5, signaling a more businesslike positioning.

2012–2013
Grey wordmark
The blue rectangle was removed and the wordmark stood alone, rendered in grey without the domain suffix. This stripped-down treatment moved the brand toward a more neutral, typographic identity while retaining the same letterforms.

Sans-serif wordmark
A clean, geometric sans-serif wordmark replaced earlier treatments, setting 'Wix' in mixed case with high contrast letterforms. The '.com' suffix appeared in some usage contexts and the mark was designed to work across digital and print without the mascot or background shapes.

Current wordmark
The 2023 update refined the letterforms further, with the 'i' character losing its dot in favor of a tall stroke and the overall mark taking on a more even, balanced weight. The revision appeared in broadcast advertising in 2024 and represents the most reduced version of the identity to date.
